I try to find positive things to say about novels I don't care for, but in this case I can't come up with a single thing. I can't even imagine what the other very few reviewers read in general to give this as many stars as they did because this was so awful as to defy imagination. Simplistic, unbelievable to the point of absurdity. If this is all it takes to get a book published than I think I'll look into this publisher and start writing. Even the love scenes were embarrassingly laughable.Product details

Desert Heat Jamie DeBree 9780983198802 Books Reviews
Although I'm not much of a reader of romantic suspense, Jamie De Bree has done it again. I could not stop reading this one. I liked it even better than Tempest. A crew of scientists goes to a remote Desert Oasis in search of a rare plant, but someone is trying to sabotage their project and drug dealers get mixed up in the action. But the biggest issue is the unstoppable chemistry between the head of the project and her sexy lab tech. This book was good times.
This was a fun, fast-paced romance unique for it's setting on a rugged research site in the desert, and its protagonists, biologists in search of a cure for flu. Along the way lots of discoveries are made, and "research" takes on a whole new meaning as shy doctor gives in to passion for other shy doctor.
